In reality, Bush's tax cuts limited the impact of Clinton Era market manipulations.
The middle-class needed that $600 to offset the unemployment caused due to the impact of 9/11 on the market.
If you're supporting an extension of the abolishment of the estate taxes, I'm sure Bush would accept it. I'm very sure he would look forward to making it permanent. There's little sense in taxing goods that have already been taxed doubly and sometimes triply, yet again, simply because you had the misfortune of dying.
Bush's education program can be improved...by throwing over the NEA and forcing all primary schools into the free market.
There was no war in Haiti. Clinton gave it over to the forces of evil.
How do I know?
I know what's happened in Haiti since, and what's happening there now. Clinton certainly didn't help the island nation one whit.
BTW: The Balkan War isn't a good example of an ethical war. Not even one that is as ethical as possible. An easy example is the refugee convoy. Pilots initially refused to fire upon the convoy until ordered to fire upon it with insistances that enemy troops were using it to disguise their movement. There's no equivalent in Afghanistan.
You'll have better luck in forums with people who are less informed.

Your post actually captures the essence of the most important reason why it is essential to retain the estate tax. Huge stock capital gains of the type amassed by Bill Gates and other capitalists will never be taxed if the stock shares can be willed to heirs free of any estate taxes. Remember that dividends paid by MSFT are 0.00 per share, as they have been ever since the company's inception.
