[history]
Leading environmentalists yesterday backed off charges that the Bush administration did not consult them in drafting its energy plan, but continued to press their case for full disclosure of executive deliberations.
The Natural Resources Defense Council, the lead environmental group suing the administration for disclosure of its energy task-force contacts, abandoned its year-long complaint against the administration amid evidence released this week that the Energy Department reached out for advice from environmentalist groups

LOFL !!!
So it turns out the NRDC is a pack of filthy, lying scumbags.
Surprise, surprise.
Who would ever think an arm of the Democrat Party would lie?
Hahahahaha.....
To: kattracks
The NRDC are a bunch of reprehensible Lefty liars. Note that what the task force documents are exposing is gross dishonesty by the Greenies.
To: kattracks
Who elected the NRDC and to what office? In what election do I get to cast a vote against the NRDC having anything to do with my elected representatives, including my democratically elected president?

The Bush Administration should announce immediately that they will no longer seek the advice of, meet with, nor communicate with, the NRDC. The NRDC has been caught lying, and the President will not associate with known, documented liars. The administration should make a pariah out of that whole scumbag operation. With no lines to the White House they would obviously lose clout, and with that, they would likely feel a devastating funding pinch. Here is an opportunity for Bush to bury a pack of lying Democrat scumbags, and I sure hope he runs with it.
To: kattracks
They have to back off, because they were lying... typical liberals.

LOL! This is at least the second time I have seen the Bush administration do a "document drop" with no fanfare to prove groups are LYING. I'm loving it!

" I'm loving it!"It had me grinnin'!
I just love Bush's strategery!
The libs are caught with their pants down every time!
To: Howlin
I love it too, but I also notice how little attention is given to the lies by the media. If they had found no contact with the enviros - we would be seeing headlines.

As an example, Ms. Buccino cited evidence that the administration adopted almost verbatim an American Petroleum Institute proposal to issue an executive order requiring agencies to consider the energy impact of their regulations.Scandelous! How dare the Adminstration require agencies to actually consider the impact their regulations. I wonder how much API had to pay the Administration to get this goldmine included in the plan.

Oh, I forgot to add this tidbit.
"They can withhold opinion, but they cannot withhold factual material," said Larry Klayman, executive director of Judicial Watch. He said the secrecy issues are "exactly the same" as those conservatives raised with former first lady Hillary Rodham Clinton's health care task force in 1993."
Larry-boy is wrong! Hitlery could not operate under the cloak of secrecy.

High-level contacts notwithstanding, the NRDC continued to lambaste the administration yesterday for giving more weight to industry recommendations than environmentalists' demands.
I find it interesting that industry recommends and environmentalists demand. Too Funny!

Racketeering for Kyoto, in full glory. Gosh, I wonder who makes money if the NRDC gets their way?

To: Carry_Okie

To: Ernest_at_the_Beach
