The saddest thing is you know they are inevitably going to die, but this country is losing its best. A bygone era when American entertainers were respectable and genuinely creative. There are no more Milton Berles or Jimmy Stewarts. They lived in the best of times and dare I say we're looking to be heading into the worst of times.

In keeping with recent events... Does this mean that in Halle Berry's eyes two Hollywood racists are no longer around to keep "African-Americans" down?

So true.

I've seen interviews with Earnest Borgnine, (sp?)85, and George Kennedy over the past year. They are old men. But they possess a certain noble attribute of their (my parent's) generation. Hollywood, as it exists today, is lost on them. It is an affront to them.

I don't know what their political leanings are (presumably liberal), but they are first AMERICANS. Like my folks.
