Fox News confirms. We'll miss Uncle Milty. His class and humour is irreplacable. Rest in Peace.

He was great in what few dramatic roles he played on screen, but I guess the public wanted to see his comedy more. Click here for his Internet Movie Database entry

Just a few memories;

Uncle Milty in a dress. I didn't see it in the first runs, but years later. Still hilarious

He hosted the MTV Video Music Awards.

Appered as both a man and a woman in the metal music video for "Round and Round" by Ratt (1989).

Had a small part in "The Loved One", one of my alltime favorites.

I just saw It's a Mad Mad Mad World with him... I still think the movie is better than rat race.

I had heard about Dudley Moore earlier today, but not Milton Berle...damn...my favorite movie with him was "It's a Mad, Mad, Mad, Mad World". That film had ALL the big names, too.

God bless them both.

I hate to be cruel and mercenary, but when our beloved former President is called home to glory (and it would be a blessed relief and release of both him and his family), I hope it's one week before an election, so the airwaves will be filled with remembrances of the greatest Republican President of the 20th Century...maybe ever.

Bob Hope is a great American, as were virtually all of the old-time American comedians. Can't say that of the foul-mouthed ultra libs of today. Paula Poundstone, Robin Williams, et al

I suspect that President Reagan would choose such a day for himself if it were possible.

He always smoked H. Upman cigars. I'll have to dig one out tonight and smoke it in his honor. I'm sure the wife will understand.

And as some of the kiss and tell biographies have told, he was hung like a horse.

And don't forget Red Skelton! He's up there with them too, to welcome Uncle Milty and Dudley. I loved Red Skelton. Such a kind man - and such a patriot.

Challenged to prove his endowment against another's, a friend encouraged him to show only enough to win.

I saw Bob on a rerun of an old I Love Lucy earlier today and I had that very same thought.

Although Hollywierd would try to tell us we're just not as sophisticated as they are!!
