bunch of crap...no pun intended...

Just sent this to my co-workers...
I called PETA HQ in Norfolk, VA and left word on their answering machine about how shocked I am over this and that I am offering to make a donation towards the Physcological therapy that this cow is going to need after this "traumatic" experience of pooping in a field while people watch.
Anybody wanna match me dollar for dollar on my donation? Let's show the world that "we care" about a cow pooping in a field. This is outrageous and an insult to the dignity of this cow.
To hell with the terrorist threat to the nation. To hell with nuclear devices, a chemical attack, use of biological agents. We must not lose focus of the important things in life... cows.
What next, horses, goats, chickens, or woodchucks? We must stop this now!
Is there no justice! Is there no humanity!

I wonder when the memo will come down denouncing the use of manure as fertilizer in the garden because it demeans the animal.

A PETA representative was on a mid-state radio talk show this afternoon, explaining why the cow would be "damaged" by the event. How the event was "demeaning and held the cow up to ridicule". I've heard the usual PETA spew. But, what almost made me drive off the roadway was when the PETAloon described the cow as "sentient"!!! These people ARE completely and utterly nuts! And, galatically stupid.
To: w1andsodidwe
Not cruel, but unusual treatment of animals. PETA should get a life.
To: w1andsodidwe
"Specifically, it's very demeaning to the animal,"
ah, now you done gone and hurt bessie's self esteem.
To: w1andsodidwe
If I eat a cow, I'm doing it a favor by incorporating it into a higher form of consciousness.

Rhodes said it teaches children that animals are disposable and it's acceptable to use animals in order to make money.Well, the idiots are right about that. We were given "dominion" over animals by God. Hey Rhodes, get a real job and you won't have so much time to worry about a cow!
To: Hodar
And look at poor Eyore. All depressed and negative. It has really affected his self esteem.
To: w1andsodidwe
okay, here's the plan...instead of the cow, we put Ms. Rhodes in the "bingo corral", have a old-fashioned cow roast, and charge $5 a plate, with proceeds to go to the prom committee. Why? Just to prove 3 things.
1) PETA really stands for "People Eating Tasty Animals",
2)"Animal Self-Esteem" can go both ways, and
3) if meat is murder, as PETA says, I'd like my "murder" medium rare, with steak fries.
To: w1andsodidwe
The PETA people are full of crap! Come to think of it, why don't they take the cow's place. It should insure plenty of fertilizer for the pasture!

Are these the same PETA folks who give their French Poodles haircute to make them look so rediculous - talk about demeaning
To: w1andsodidwe
The school could probably make far more money if they charged people to watch PETA members defecating in a field.
To: w1andsodidwe
Well of course it is demeaning to cows to be forced to go to the bathroom out in the open with everyone watching. They are accustomed to using those stalls that are in barns. ;9\
