Yes Menachem Begin served in the Polish Army. Rode horses I believe. Cavalry maybe? I doubt it. Cavalry units were used in mass scale in the war with Soviet Union in 1919/1920. But in 1939 cavalry and horses in general were used for fast transportation. If you allude to the supposed attacks of "stupid" Polish cavalry against German tanks be warned that it was a fabrication of Nazi propaganda mindlessly repeated in Western media. Do not trust media or "official" version of history, please. Investigate carefuly first.

Don't read anything into my post. I am innocent on this one. All I have to go on is that when M Begin visited Ariel Sharon at his Negev ranch, Sharon was surprised how Begin liked the horses there. There was some connection to Begin's experience in Polish army that made him like horses.
