I can now enjoy the "raisin" interpretation in comfort. (Of course, the term "crystal clarity" suggests they're describing diamonds, not dried fruit....)
You may be right; but even that, I suspect, would drastically cut down on the suicide pilot recruitment...a diamond cannot provide perpetual, ahem, service (cough) in Paradise.
