Actually, Pokey, George Will's current column is outstanding, even if it does criticize the President. But if I read you correctly, we're pretty much in agreement on President Bush. I wish he were more conservative, but I still think he's a great president, and I'm awfully proud of him.
Our country was spared an immense tragedy when Pat Buchanan failed to do to President Bush what Ralph Nader succeeded in doing to Vice President Gore.
Nader didn't ruin algore, algore ruined algore.
IMO, the election wasn't won by someone the people wanted, but by the person the most people feared least.
