Did it ever occur to you that Bush has decided that it is better to give in to the Democrats while they control the senate and remove all the campaign issues that they would like to run on in the fall? Then get on with his agenda, when we take back the Senate?

Then get on with his agenda, when we take back the Senate?

That's a foolish plan.

The Republican party will run the incumbent RINOs (who should be run out of office) because of the idiotic idea that any Republican is better than any Democrat. At least with the leftist Democrats you never trust or rely on them.

For the most part, Republicans will get to vote for an incumbent RINO or a party-selected RINO to run against the incumbent Dem with the instructions to vote for the RINO or else help elect a Democrat. Some choice. No garantee that there'll be a Republican majority that Dasshole can't buy off either.

I most definitely think that is what he is doing. Bush is a pragmatist and he knows that the senate and the RINO senators will not go with the agenda he and the house are pushing. So he is letting the democrats in on the compromise. So we didn't get vouchers and the government is giving money to educate the illiterate and the poor. So, that can change or become more meaningful when vouchers can be included when the senate is back on Republican hands. And as for CFR--do you really think that the media would have left Bush alone especially with ENron if he vetoes CFR. Again this too can be revisited with a senate majority. Please, we always high tail it out of town when the going gets rough. Personally, I am disapointed in Rush--he states that those of us still loyal to Bush are more concerned with power. Frankly, I believe that without the next term republican agenda will not go far and the tax cuts will be stopped. So, my friends, disagree but remember that Bush is a republican as you and I but he too is the president for everyone and there are some moderates and there are some liberals who also have good points. Let's start a different tone.

Those are the same type of arguments that were made during the election and for months after in order to justify the actions of GW. Well they are lame arguments and untrue besides. You don't deal for what's right by giving up honor and principles and kicking the constitution in the gut. That is sign # 1 that you have a problem when you see that going on. The truth is that GW is just another politician with a global agenda who has no more a patriotic character than Clinton. The sooner you realize that then the better off you will be.

That's exactly what he's doing. He's out-libbing the liberals and there is no honor or integrity in that.

Did it ever occur to you that Bush couldn't care less about House or Senate republicans and their issues? It stands to reason then that he couldn't care less about republican senate or house election campaigns in 2002, either. After all, Bush is said to have only a few more agenda items until the end of his presidency and so why would he need more republicans to bug him to push issues and stir up trouble. All Bush cares about now is being re-elected in 2004 and he will give democrats more than half of everything they want to keep up the lovely tone in DC. If he only knew that being a war president also means running the domestic side of his job.
