I've been trying to keep up with the weird deaths that are going on in that area. Something very strange is happening there. Isn't there a big drug culture there or some kind of brainwashing experiments going on? Remember the nut that attacked some kids in their home with a pitchfork a few years ago. I think it happened in that area.

Don't know much about the crime there, BUT, it IS the site for a new UC campus. Sounds perfect.
