Man drives truck into Florida mosque

TALLAHASSEE, Florida (CNN) -- A man drove his truck into a mosque near Florida State University on Monday night, prompting police to seal off the area and call in a bomb squad.

No one was inside the Islamic Center of Tallahassee at the time, and police say only the driver was injured.

You're right, he shouldn't have drove while being obviously drunk. However, it is more than fitting that a drunk driver hit a mosque rather than an innocent person.

Most of the world's truckers only want to "just get along." Since in many Arab lands, the truck cab seems to be reserved for Dad and sheep, as a sign of friendship and understanding I would recommend that from now on, at least Mom be allowed to ride inside.

Tallahassee in the news once again - here's the local angle. It wasn't an accident, but it's sure a stretch to call it a "hate crime." The guy was distraught after his wife and kids left him on Sunday - so he slams his truck into the Islamic Center. Said truck is full of "Christian" items, including literature. Maybe a little misguided attempt at missionary work.

Poor guy, this town is so determined to be tolerant that they're going to make his life intolerable.
