Is it in America truely inapropriate, to tongue-kiss?I don't get it! I never liked her parents, but can't this child of those creeps, just have a private life? It's hard enough to settle somewhere or somehow after those disasterous years. By the way, don't you think, that a lot of parent right now have a problem with "spring-break"... realy they fear the time. Why? Because American Children are too restricted too early and things they are not allowed to do, are even more interesting! I see a big difference in bringing up children here, ore in my homeland Germany!(western-Europe in general is teaching their children very early, how to be responsible and then they are able to choose!! They react more mature. By the way, it hurts me, to see in European TV spots about "Spring-Break" in America.(European MTV) The young people in Europe think, the teens and twens in the USA are realy nuts and out of control, and joke about them. I realy feel sorry about that.

Because in some places they are, but not all American teens are that way. Some are even worse.

Granted her folks pushed her into some very public situations. She probably had very little control over that. She has chosen, though, to continue to interject herself into public policy conversations. She has entered the arena on her own and is fair game. BTW, I will never forgive nor forget her Africa trip.

Public affection is generally not appropriate. I daresay it's the same in Germany. Who knows how private these two thought they were being, however. They probably thought they were in a relatively private moment.
Yes, American spring breakers you see on TV are nuts and out of control. They are decadent, stupid, etc., etc. Rest assured that there are many, many more university-aged kids sitting around their mom and dad's house. Sitting on the couch isn't nearly as interesting on TV, however.

Do you really want us to believe that your country doesn't have its share of misbehaving teenagers? And do you have any idea of how many of the American Spring Break participants are from European countries?
