LOL, but it was such a great thread. The moderator taking part at the beginning of your thread was pretty cool, but then the mean moderator came on duty and nuked it. Too bad.
(he says while recovering from the stripes placed on his back from the massive flogging he has received).
I've only been beaten by Herr Moderator once. Pissed me off something bad because I hadn't done anything wrong..... really.....nope....didn't do nothing....nuzing, I say!

You are correct. The notice that the thread is Locked and the original post can be viewed via Link given is very understandable. Preserves comments etc. Should be used more.

What it has to do with my monthly contribution is this. If the site is the sole domain of one person,as it originally was, and that person pays all the expenses for the site then they can do anything they want with it, but when they start asking others to support the site with their hard earned dollars then it is no longer totally their site. I have no problem with obscene threads or personal attacks being deleted, I want the site to be a civil forum. However when site are censored because of a political view that the moderator doesn't agree with I get conerned. If the thread was pulled because it was a duplicate then why when I did a search did the original not come up. When I wrote my original thread it appeared to me that the thread had been pulled for no apparent reason. If I was wrong about that I apologizes, but from what I have read recently this deletion nonsense has become more widespread. And being upset about censorship is something I will not apologize for.

Was their any promise from JimRob that could possibly lead you to believe that he was extending editorial content determination rights to you in return for your donation?

I think my Free Republic Secret Decoder ring's crypto has lost sync. Easy fix, though (as Poohbah rummages for a hammer).

It's not censorship to have a dup thread removed. Time to get over it.

You are enjoying this, aren't you. I'm beginning to think you all have a perverse sense of humor - watching people make fools of themselves like this! Shame on you....
