It pisses me off that Hitler chose Wagners music as his theme music.. Wagner may have been a anti-semetic Piece of crap but the music is beyond words and the operas are fantastic. For instance Wagners last opera Parsifal was outlawed by Hitler cause of the heavy christian Theme... Wagner is one of the greatest composers ever.. His Festpiele house in Bayrueth is a work of absolute art as most of his operas are. When you hear Ride of the Walkries what comes to your mind. It is a wonderful peice of music. Agree with you 100% about the music and the man. How such a miserable human being could produce such beauty in music is an endless source of fascination for me.
