Simmer down, I didn't bash Bush, just thinking over the policy. An increase of $5 Billion to the taxpayers and another agency/department will have to be formed to distribute the money. What things would we want our money to help in their countries? What if the democrats get ahold of the dept. some day? Why raise foreign aid soooo much? How will this help our country? Can we dump millions of conservative books on them? lol

This is a very important savvy move. We no longer provide funds for use by the U.N. in furthering hate against America. We now chose who will get our aid. Those that hate America will not see our funds. This is the way it should be. I'm tired of paying for food for the anti-america crowd to bash us and train terrorists to take the rest of our money.

Providing aid to the citizen run governments will aid those who are progressing to democracies instead of paying for socialism and dictators to further their power.

Whoopee for Bush. This move puts control in our hands, furthers pro-Americanism, furthers citizen determined governments and takes the money away from the dictators and terrorist producing nations. More drying up of their funds.

He also took a stand against a global tax.
