To a Viet Nam Nurse from the wife of a soldier who was wounded:

"most of all thank you for the care you gave my husband when he was wounded in Vietnam.
And, thank you for all you gave to those who needed your care so much, when you were in Vietnam.
I know I speak for the families and loved ones of those who made it home
and for the families and loved ones of those who did not make it home:
the sacrifices made by you and all of the medical personnel
who served in Vietnam may not have been glorified; however, your presence was and continues
to be held most dear by those for whom you cared and by their families and loved ones."
