Look, from the scant evidence that's available on the subject of pedophilia (given all the secrecy it involves), the most common form is grown men preying on young girls. Just as that does not indict all the many straight men that do NOT abuse children, the men who abuse young boys should not indict all gay men. It looks to me like the problem here is pedophilia, regardless of the gender of the perp or victim. Why obfuscate the core problem?

When confronted with this information the usual response is to point out the disproportionate ratio of males molesting boys vs. males molesting girls to the ratio of homosexual to heterosexuals. Of course, they don't think to take account that the majority of male molesters of boys have far more victims than molesters of girls (the stats for the former showed the latter as well, though I didn't see any speculation or reasoning as to why molesters of boys have more victims).

It hasn't, I suppose, occured to you that homosexuals are 1-5% of the population? And that even if homosexuals are commiting no more than 33% of all child molestation, then the average homosexual is way more likely to be a predator than the average heterosexual?
