The fight against liberalism is a long tedious war. Things don't go 100% right all the time.
Since Ronald Reagan, not nearly enough things have gone Right for Conservatives.
Conservatism is not dead. It has been replaced by the republican party and it's minions. The republican definition of happiness is being led further into bigger government, higher taxes and less liberty by someone with an 'r' attached to their name.
Their definition of misery is the same outcome if the leaders have a 'd' attached to their name.

So true. I don't understand why so many conservatives expect things to go their way 100% of the time. The slightest mistake, or compromise is regarded as complete and irreversible betrayal. These same people live to declare bad news. They never remember good that happens, only the bad.

Thank God there are still some FReepers that realize this fact! I swear I think a lot of you expected G.W. to wave his magic wand, or open his Conservative bag of tricks, and fix everything- instantly! Well, real life doesn't work that way. It will take a long time (yet) to undo the damage that has been done to our country over the last 50 years!
