I know what you mean, about having trouble hating the Bleks (and others, as well). They lost their son to a street hoodlum, and we parents all know what a never-ending nightmare that must be ... I can't even make my mind go there, and don't want to try too hard.
Exactly! As a mom, I also CANNOT imagine losing a child. But to anything, not just guns but cars and planes and terrorists and statists and bad chicken and hockey pucks and the Hanta virus and just life in general.
I'm sorry for his loss. Truly. But he chose to attack our Liberty. Did he think he could do it without being challenged?
You know, the strange thing is, I believe that they did think they would go virtually unchallenged. I think that they had no clue at all that the real American Public would stand up and say, "Hey! Cut that out!" I'm glad you were there, then and there, to do just that. :o)
