Merc may now be "reporting for the Liberty Belles.org" in the Sierra Times:

Reporting for
Liberty Belles.org

TKO: Liberty Belles Trounce "Million Moms"
By Marian Hollenbeck - For Liberty Belles.org
Published 03. 26. 02 at 9:35 Sierra Time

But, according to her profile page, she is still missing in action on Free Republic...

What's up with THAT?
Hey, lowbridge! How about starting a campaign to entice her BACK to this forum?

Ha! I scooped them! :-)

What's up with THAT?

You'll have to ask Merc about that(I'm not allowed to tell).

Good idea. :-)

I've already been begging her to come back. I could use more help.

Letter Guidelines for the Mailbag

1. All letters are subject to editing for length, grammar and spelling. Try hard to do this yourself because if there is a lot of it I won't have time to use your letter! I can't use letters in ALL CAPS - or with none at all. Please use the space and punctuation keys in their proper places as much as possible.

2. Your name will be used only with clear written permission for each letter. Please don't expect me to remember! Same goes for email and web site addresses. No commercials, please.

3. Really bad words are not acceptable. If the letter has merit otherwise, I'll just have to "bleep" out the bad ones, but don't make a habit of it! The delete key works just fine, so let's keep it polite and clean.

4. Please check for the title of the article in the "Subject" line of the feedback email (TKO-Liberty Belles Trounce "Million Moms"). If it isn't there or isn't right, please help me out by correcting it. You can write to feedback about anything, of course, but responses to our articles and features get priority in the mailbag.

Lots of "letters" are really editorials. If you have a lengthy rant on an issue rather than a comment on a Sierra Times article or feature, write clearly and boldly then submit to opeds@SierraTimes.com

Not yet...for now the campaign has to keep a low profile. Right now the best we can do is simply ask her by freepmail to come back.

AnnaZ BTTT. Read it first in SierraTimes, then did a search here. Is that backwards or what? :-)

Well Done!

Hope she comes back. She sounded pretty ticked off in that note she left in her profile. I sent her an e-mail, but give her my best wishes anyway, will ya?

I don't know ... but you know, I was wondering about the details of the case. Has anyone ever heard anything about it besides their statements? NOT that I'm thinking that anyone would make up a son's death! But, what were the circumstances?

I've often wanted to ask them, if they could go back in time and rear that child with guns, teaching him to use them and handle them safely, and make sure that he was armed and could defend himself when he was in NYC ... wouldn't they? Would they have wanted him to have a gun to save his own life?

In my heart, I already know what the real answer to that would be. It's why both of my children were trained from preschool and on.

You know, the strange thing is, I believe that they did think they would go virtually unchallenged. I think that they had no clue at all that the real American Public would stand up and say, "Hey! Cut that out!" I'm glad you were there, then and there, to do just that. :o)
