I totally believe in a John Doe #2. Totally. There were witnesses to the fact, and Timmy, while industrious, could not have pulled that off without some help.

Your point about the Iraqi's is a good one. Iraqis are know for many things but not for car bombs of mass destruction. But your suspicions of McVeigh's motives do not ring true to me. Suspicion of the McVeigh's cell's technical ability? Yes. Indications are that the explosive used was composed of a much more weapons grade chemical potency than one would get from domestic fertilizer prepared at in a barn by amatuers. McVeigh could have been nothing more than the eager patsy willing to be used for another's agenda because McVeigh's agenda was also being fulfilled.

I would look to an al-Qaidian link first before I will accept a Saddam/Iraqi/Ba'athist link.

Oh, help.

Don't get me started on on the devices themselves.  Never mind the TWO detonations CLEARLY recorded by the seismographs, forget the fact that NO traces (above microscopic levels) of ammonium nitrate were found despite the nature of the device requiring compression (containment) to actually work, totally ignore the physics of the device in relation to its position clearly indicate the thing would NOT accomplish what actually happened, lets all just swallow this load of government BS, go home, be happy, have a Coke and a smile and watch Barney re-runs.

Yak know.. considering the fact that most of these clowns that performed in the original production of "Oklahoma!, the terror begins.." are gone and mostly forgotten, one would think that the current crop of ivy league twits would perform the usual "feeding on their own" trick and "out" their predecessors in order to gain a few scraps of credibility with the current population of sheep.   Either the saga continues or, as I suspect, the current ivy leaguers are even more brainwashed than the previous crew.

Or, I suppose it could be possible to accurately mix to within 1/2 of 1 percent a precise mixture of dry pellets and (again a precise mixture) of several volatile liquids on the order of several tons in the back of a truck without electricty, scales or volume measuring equipment by the side of a lake in a matter of just a few hours in order to produce a device that AT BEST is going to "fizzle" and blow hundreds of pounds of soggy AN pellets all over everything for several hundred yards and this would be a force that would induce 1/3 of a reinforced concrete building to collapse, an event that normally takes hundreds of pounds of HIGH EXPLOSIVES precisely placed over a period of weeks by demolition engineers....

yea,    ....right.
