You can see that, huh? How come you cannot see that the people that you address are NOT saying that everything that the President does is wonderful.

They're saying that they understand, realistically, that they will NOT be happy with everything that he does but that they won't viciously turn on him when he occasionally does do something that they're not happy about.

They're also saying that they're not going to jump the gun, that they will comment on what he does AFTER HE ACTUALLY DOES IT and not before.

To accuse them of claiming that the President can do no wrong only shows YOUR blindness.

First of all, going back on a campaign promise is bad, but it happens. (he did promise to veto, look at the National Review article posted earlier)

The White House has released a statement saying that President Bush will sign the bill.

Signing a bill that is unconstitutional IS a big deal, and the fact that you're not outraged is pretty sickening. I feel the same way about the first amendment as I do the second. If the first can be eroded, all of them can be eroded.

I guess I should shut up and be a good little politico?
