What I want to know is why are so many are so sure the story is not true. From the first day this was reported, these threads have been full of people degrading, mocking and smearing anyone who wanted to take the issue seriously (not referring to you).

And now we get the "no proof" again. Clintonesque. Insight, Jane's, FOX news and The Forward did not put their reputations on the line to report a story which is an "Urban Myth." The is no motive I can see for those outlets to publish this story. There is motive for Israel to spy on the USA (history proves that) and for our government to hush it up.

Something is there. Getting to that is what Free Republic used to be all about. On this topic is seems to be the opposite for many. They don't even want it discussed.

I still didn't see any proof or any named sources. FOX pulled the story precisely because they did not want to put their reputation on the line.

There is motive for Israel to spy on the USA (history proves that) and for our government to hush it up.

Let's not be silly. Motive alone doesn't constitute a crime.
