Yes, the Clintons appear to have skated FOR now, but stuff has a way of coming out when it's least expected....and, if I may, console yourselves with the thoughts that the Dems ARE paying the price for their zombie-like fealty to the Clintons..
Look, if the Dem leadership and Gore had called for Clinton to resign after he admitted that he lied to the grand jury, the incumbent president Gore would have been elected easily in 2000...no bones about it....and then, where the hell would the country be today? Scary thought.....so, there, is indeed a God, He works his way mysteriously, and he is looking out for this blessed nation of ours, though he's sorely testing the patience of Freepers. Because the Dems sold their souls to Clinton, we have the right man leeading us in the War on Terror, he's he easily re-elected in 2004, and the GOP will regain the Senate majority this fall....and when the time is right, the Clintons will be called to account...

Oops - there you go again, thinking that either party is right or wrong. BOTH parties are corrupt and care little for you and me - the constant bickering between the two is a sham - if you believe that one really oppsses the other, how do you explain that neither has really changed anything (other than allowing things to degenerate) even though the masses cry out for justice?
We are being hosed daily, and their arrogance is growing - the more we let happen, the more empowered they become.

I wonder if any of the Dems realize that a large part of Bush's popularity is that he is the "Un-Clinton".
Bubba has gotten his comeuppance. He is a laughing stock and somewhat of a pariah in polite society. Hillary has yet to get hers in the same way--perhaps that will come in the guise of a national repudiation should she run for President.
I will relish the day, and I believe it is coming, when the national Democrat leadership, in an attempt to assert their preceived moral superiority will put forth a collective mea culpa for letting Clinton off the hook.

...gave factually inaccurate testimony, but there was not enough evidence to prove the former first family engaged in wrongdoing.
It's this kind of statement from the Starr's and Ray's of the world that really frost me.
Why can't they just be honest and say that, in fact, some people ARE above the law...
because you know what? If you or I "gave factually inaccurate testimony", we'd go to jail.

- The only difference between Jesse Jackson

- and the clintons
-
-
- is that Jackson offers up his unintelligible banalities in doggerel.
-
- It is axiomatic.
- Anything those three can possibly destroy, they will...
-
-
- but only if they can line their pockets in the process...
-
-
- Nine-eleven's cause and effect, these three self-serving, racist, balkanizing, atavistic slugs are depraved and dangerous...
-
- They continue to undermine Bush's war on terrorism.

- To paraphrase Shelley:
- Jackson-rodham-clinton
- Bane of all genius, virtue, freedom, truth,
- They make slaves of men, ruins of civilizations.
