Look at Egypt where Christian churches are leveled and the parishoners are not allowed to fix or build new ones. (Let's not even get into forced conversions.) As Dhimmia, second class citizens paying special taxes and surviving on the sufference of the regimes.
Compare this to Israel where Christians and Muslims have the same rights as religious Jews.
