There was nothing wrong when Clinton signed welfare reform. That is the only right thing he did in office. Besides, welfare reform is not unconstitutional and CFR is. I hate to say this but Clinton did the right thing where Bush may not if he signs CFR.

Lots of people think it is. It just hasn't been challenged. Neither has this bill, as it is not yet a law.

You completely missed my point re: Clinton signing welfare reform.
His base (liberal democrats) hated the bill, but he (finally) signed it anyway, because it was in HIS political interest to do so.
BJ knew he could get away with ANYTHING with his base, because they would vote for him no matter what.
