I'm so sorry, I actually didn't realize how funny you actually
are. Sheesh. You're a regular belly laugh.
Now, I will go talk to my friends, okay? And A Citizen Reporter can very well defend herself, she doesn't need me or anyone else to do it. My comments were made because I wanted to be serious, when now I realize that everything is so very funny to you. :-)

Thank you, hc. The last thing I want is President Hillary Clinton, God help us all.
I sent my message; he sent his, and I think that either way he kills the unconstitutionality of the law, while in the process making John McCain look like the total dweeb that he is...except it won't be the PRESIDENT doing it, it will be SCOTUS. :-)

Do you mean to tell me that she called me a lemming? Wait, I musta missed that part.....

I think that people get the wrong impression of me sometimes. Although my comments are oftentimes sarcastic, they are always meant to be humorous and not hurtful to people. I guess I just have a dry sense of humor. But even when I post humorously, there is always a note of seriousness to it.
Whenever it comes to issues that I am really interested in, such as Constitutional Questions, bioethics, pro-life issues, and Government Corruption, I usually am very serious on those threads.
I have just learned in the past to not be surprised by what Bush does and the only way I can deal with his wayward actions is with humor, even if it is dry.

I still think the President has an ace up his sleeve, and I still have faith in him.
Could anything cause you to lose it?
Is there any line you'd draw?

Howard Phillips is the head of the U.S. Constitution Party, formerly known as the U.S. Tax Payers Party. It is a conservative party that doesn't waver on their beliefs.

Here is what I DON'T get, not in the remotest of ways. This bill has been in the House, it's been in the Senate, and been passed by both, but ALL OF A SUDDEN the entire bill is the PRESIDENT's fault. (Not that he's signed it yet) I cannot understand how so many people on this forum, are not upset with their own senator's who voted for it yesterday. (By my count there were 60 of them.) But, oh no!, this must be laid at the feet of the president. I am wondering about motives here......
To: Sabertooth
I'm so very curious, why that would be important to you?

No... All of the sudden, it's his responsibility.
There's a Constitutional process that's taking place. Anti-Free Speech folks in the House and the Senate have pushed this CFR garbage onto the President's desk.
Now, he has a decision... comes with the job.
I'm still hopeful he'll make the right one.

What you don't know who that is.... The guy who couldn't get 100,000 votes in 2000.
Howard Phillips Constitution, Independent American, American Independent, Independent, American Constitution, Concerned Citizens, United States Taxpayers, "Write-In", "By Petition"
Popular Vote: 98,016 (0.09%)

"No... All of the sudden, it's his responsibility." And I trust that you are not among those who have already decided what he is going to do? I want to know where are the freepers who are holding their senators accountable for what they've already done. Funny how I've seen so little discourse on this site about that......

How about this,
Amendment I Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or
prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press; or the right of the people peaceably to assemble, and
to petition the government for a redress of grievances. Now some may not care about the "Bill of Rights and the Constitution", but most of us here do.

There actually has been a lot on this forum about that in the past, but most people are concerned about the here and now at this present moment.
And no, I am not an in the closet liberal for being critical of George W.; I would rather be an elephant than a jackass any day.

Well, there hasn't been much discourse on how brilliant and infallible too many Senators are.
My hunch is Bush will sign this, and many will call him a genius for doing so.
My hope is that he vetoes it, and then of course, many here will hail him as a genius for doing so.
In the latter case, I'll definitely applaud.

Do you have a thing for Cats?
Just the big cats. I also like prehistoric critters.
To: Valin
60 senators voted for this bill. What are you doing to turn them out of the senate? Anything?
To: A Citizen Reporter
She
said she called you a lemming, LOL. I didn't go back and check. ;-) You did, though. *grins*
People here will scream kick and stamp their feet because it didn't go THEIR WAY.
My KIDS do not get away with that...even when they think they are RIGHT.
