God rest my dad's soul, he was also born on St. Patrick's Day -- John Patrick Cogan. My grandfather came over here in about 1920 as I recall. He died right after I was born so I never had the chance to thank him for making this great land his adopted home.

Wow, what a coincidence! Hopefully we will continue to be blessed by our grandfathers' good Irish luck; may we always do right by their memory.
