I realize you have all heard Ted got 10 years. I have spent the last couple of weeks quite down. With time served, Ted could be out in two years (but must go before a panel to decide this). With Appeals, he could be out in 6 months. With the track record of Monaco- I am not holding my breath. Basically I have no idea when Ted is coming home.
I am burnt out. I am angry. Angry at life. I realize this is a normal reaction and am trying to get over this. I am still trying to figure out what to say to the kids, trying not to spoil their holiday.
I truly thank you all for being there for me the last three years. My last three years have been totally devoted to Ted and his case. There comes a time when you say "enough." I will always love Ted but will see what happens when/if he gets home. He will always be the father to our children. I will continue to fight for Ted's release, but I have told the lawyer I need to step back a bit and he needs to only update me on an extreme basis.
Ted will be shipped to France in about a month. The 20 minute weekly phone call will stop once he is transferred. This is the children's fourth Christmas without their Dad.
48 hours did a documentary about Ted's trial while I was in Monaco. This should air the first or second week of February. I can not watch it when it airs.
My main reason for writing this is to thank you all for your support/help. I couldn't have made it the last three years without you. You find out who are your true family/friends in times like this. You have all been there for me in your own way and I wanted to thank you.
