Here at the Canteen, we never tire of the pomp and circumstance of raising and lowering our flag, do we.

And here is a refresher course on how to fold our American Flag properly.

1. Hold the flag lengthwise and fold it in half. Next continue to hold the flag lengthwise and fold it once more so that it is one-fourth of the original width.

2. Starting at the end with the stripes, fold the flag over into a small triangle.

3. Continue to fold the flag into triangles.

4. Complete the folding with the blue and stars on top.
