Here ya go!

Estimated time of arrival for cherry blossoms: April 1

The cherry blossoms should be in bloom on April 1, no foolin'. Organizers of the National Cherry Blossom Festival (March 23 through April 8) announced that Washingtonians and visitors can expect the five-day peak period to take place in the middle of this year's festivities, painting the Tidal Basin pink and white. This year's festival marks the 90th anniversary of the gift of 3,000 cherry trees from the people of Tokyo to the people of Washington.
