I wish I knew what to suggest because all my attempts with Congress have been to no avail. Congress only listens to foreign interests, big corporate donars, the Saudis and wealthy Arabs and the Chinese these days.

Please send copies of the article and the announcement of the Judiciary Hearings to local and national news media and to all your friends and neighbors. If no one in the media will do anything about this situation now, my hope is that if we have a strong and detailed enough paper trail, that maybe after the next terror attack they will then start paying attention and do more reporting then to help start turning things around.

So far Homeland Security has only managed to spend more money and take away more freedoms from law abiding citizens and publicize more terror alerts. It is a joke so far. But if they ever develop a better anthrax vaccine and create more doses of samll pox vaccine I suppose you could say they will have done some good.

Right now I feel like innocents in America are doomed to be inadequately protected from terror attacks by the FBI. Self defense and vigilance for oneself and neighbors is the best thing for now since we can no longer rely on the FBI to help us.

"Congress only listens to foreign interests, big corporate donars, the Saudis and wealthy Arabs and the Chinese these days."

Another suggested approach: remember Gibson's comment yesterday re:emails "I only read the short ones."

Keep in mind that many congressional staffers, like many journalists, are busy, and some (most?) of them regard the OKC/Waco activists as "nuts."

If you can convey the impression that you saw the Gibson show, or read Schippers' comments last week, and are highly alarmed by comments from highly respected people like Larry Johson and/or David Schippers, and do it concisely, your letters or calls may have more impact.

The most important message, for those of you who are constituents of any of those on the Senate Judiciary List, (see post #9) is to tell the staffers you are calling all your friends, and urging them NOT to vote for Senator X at the next election if they don't vote to further explore the OKC/Middle East connection. This may be particularly alarming to the Democrats on the list.

The same approach can be used in contacting the national media.

In other words, KISS. A la "This is an outrage, the media isn't reporting this, we want to know why, and it's the job of the Senate Judiciary Committee, given 9/11 and all the FBI problems recently, to make appropriate changes."

This is the liberal approach to lobbying, and, in this case, it can't hurt.
