First of all, I'm no Clarence Thomas fan. I think we should be able to ask more of our Supreme Court Justices than to just sit quietly and nod and then co-sign off on virtually every opinion that certain other justices make, if you know what I mean. So regardless of what else is in Brock's book, he confirmed what I already knew a long time ago, that Thomas lied his butt off about Anita Hill. Okay, he's in, the cons have the majority, but at what price? I think Thomas has been a liability for a long time, and I would not miss him in the least.

No, I don't know what you mean. Would you like to elaborate, or do we have to wait until you get your head out of your Clymer?

Actually I watched a segment on CSPAN where Thomas was answering questions from I believe middle and high school students. He came across as very down to earth, and had that rare talent of being able to put complicated issues in easy to understand terms that only the best teachers have. I was like you in having a somewhat negative opinion of him, but that piece that I watched really changed my opinion.

Gee a newby member today, thanks for the great insight. Anita and the Liberial (RAT) smear squad lied their butts off, but that is par for the course with the rats.
BTW turkey, while Thomas doesn't ask questions from the bench, he does write opinions. His opinions are uniformly brillant.
