Could be a "blonde" hair was found somewhere in Westerfield's RV, home, clothes, etc. and was thought to be one of Danielle's. If, after analysis, it was discovered that it is COLOR-TREATED, not naturally blonde, VOILA! Brenda Van Dam!
Feldman also brought up the point, that Danielle's hair was naturally blonde, thus making the comparison between Brenda's chemically treated hair, and Danielle's natural hair. Remember, they did have MitDNA used for the initial booking of Westerfield evidence.
Could be he's just making the van Dams worry about something that isn't there, and could be they SHOULD worry about something that IS there?
