According to some reports, a car exploded around 12:30 p.m. on the second level of the parking deck, causing one man to fall from that level. The man was taken to Wake Medical Center. His condition is unknown, but officials say his injuries are not life threatening.
Major Lewis of the Raleigh police said they evacuated the Forum office buildings.
Police say there is a dark-colored bag on the first level of the parking deck adjacent to Misys Healthcare Systems that could possibly be an explosive device.
The Raleigh police bomb squad and ATF are on the scene.
Witnesses inside the building said the incident appeared to be a domestic dispute involving a man planting a bomb on his girlfriend’s car.
There are four buildings located in the Forum office complex. Parking decks are attached to all of them.
