I agree about the statistic about girls having sex by 14. My daughter is 13 and for the past year she's had some friends hook up with boyfriends. They were 12 at the time ! I was flabbergasted. My daughter has no desire for a boyfriend, plus she knows her dad and I wouldn't allow it anyway. She needs to do things in their own time and not rush to be an adult like so many of her friends are trying to do. Of course I look to the parents of these girls. They can't put their foot down and say " no way " ? If girls start dating at 12, by the time they are 15 or so they will think that the next logical step is sex. Right is right and wrong is wrong, and a 12 - 13 year old girl dating is just plain wrong !!!

gawdawful parents letting kids do selfdestructive immoral things, even encouraging it. sickening and sad. yes if they are dating at 12, by 15, who knows ... it's child abuse to let that happen.
