Forgive my lack of moral outrage, but is there a particular reason why I should give a crap whether "college girls" these days are giving it up faster than a Frenchman at a schnitzel stand? Now, I don't have a problem with people "judging" this type of thing, but how exactly is this any of my business?

I was particularly intrigued with the author's statement regarding whores, along the lines of "at least they make a buck". Well, one might argue that the current generation of sluts is enjoying themselves. Maybe it's worth it to them.

I guess we can lament this change in standards, but I doubt it is of any great consequence to those who aren't living them.

The truth is that women actually lose power by becoming tramps. When they give away one of their main sources of bargaining power in a relationship – sex – men gain total power by achieving everything they want…free sex with no obligation.

This attitude is, as my dear departed Daddy used to say, "Why buy (and maintain) the cow when you can get the milk for free!" Until women begin DEMANDING better behavior from men, the situation will not change. The reason men behaved better in earlier times was because they knew that to be able to engage in sexual behavior with the woman of their choice, they had to provide for her and their offspring. Feminism has caused women to be promiscuous and men to reject their role as a provider. It's a viscious cycle and now it's difficult to tell which came first: the chicken or the egg. As another example of slutty behavior, Michael Savage -- the talk radio host who is also a Berkeley Ph.D. in nutritional science -- on his show last night attributed the massive outbreak of conjunctivitis -- pink eye -- among the women students on the campuses of Dartmouth and Princeton in recent weeks to lesbian activity.

Sounds likely enough. The article I read on the outbreak in the NY Times a couple of days ago made no mention of any occurrences of the malady among men.

There may be something to this. We had an intern last year that was waiting to go to law school. She shared an apartment with 3 guys, one of whom, was her 'boyfriend'.
