The Mass GOP primary race for Governor will hav lasted approximately one hour.
This is pretty silly. Just this morning Swift was challenging Romney to a debate after it is obvious he will run. NOw she is dropping out. Wacky.

Howie Carr said that he'd try to get Romney on the show this afternoon.

Wacky. Yep, that's why she isn't running. 3 cheers for Mitt Romney

Woo Hoo! Swift seemed pretty weak IMHO. I just wish Romney would have run against John Kerry. Would love to seat THAT guy go down in defeat.

What are Romney's positions on the issues? I do not know.

This is pretty silly. Just this morning Swift was challenging Romney to a debate after it is obvious he will run. NOw she is dropping out. Wacky. Those internal polls must have been pretty horrendous. A Herald poll on Sunday had Mitt Romney over Swift by 77-12%. I suspect internal polls showed an even wider margin than that. As soon as the "draft-Mitt" campaign got underway, Swift was toast. Had she been the GOP candidate for governor this year, the Democrats might as well have started measuring the curtains in the corner office now.
I think Mitt Romney has an excellent chance to revitalize the GOP in Massachusetts. The events of the past few weeks have been very refreshing here in Massachusetts.
