I couldn't believe it when he told Larry King, yes, he would always support Andrea, but "the purpose of marriage is companionship and to bear children and with both those things gone"... Chills, he gave me chills. I watched the LK interview also and got the same chills--Yates is clueless. How can any parent go though such a tragedy, the loss of the kids and essentially his wife, only to yak it up all over national TV the day she receives her formal sentencing. He has yet to learn how to moderate what he says and where he says it.
The selfish attitude Yates exhibited last night explains why he didn't recognize the serious problems in his own house.

Yes, Rusty's God (made in Rusty's image)holds with the believe that "the purpose of marriage is companionship and to bear children and with both those things gone". Five victim's on the alter of this man's ego. Now, after the TV interviews, lawsuits and the bookdeals, it is time to just move on, and keep breeding. As he said after the trial "I kept taking Andrea to the doctor and they kept sending her home broken".

Hard to see when you head is swollen with ego. But, this does not suprise alot of us in TN (place where Yates comes from), this male , me, me, me attitude is prevalent in TN males! They have the assumption that wife means slave, and as long as they bring home the bacon, the rest is up to her!
Word to women who come across this guy, or one like him...run far, run fast!
