"When I took the oath of office, we were the seventh-largest economy on the planet," he said. "We passed Italy the first year, France my second year, and we will pass the U.K. in two years."

"Today France. Tomorrow, the world!"

When the Sacramento Bee finds Gray Davis too creepy, you know he's WAY too creepy.

"I saved this friggin' paper. I kept the lights on in this state, do you understand that?"

Arrogant, self-important, delusional, confrontational, bitter, AND sporting a seething god complex. Everything California could possibly hope for in a governor!

Davis even makes McCain look emotionally stable.

"the normally restrained governor told the San Diego Union"

That's a negative tower . . . should read "the totally unavailable Governor, in his first press conferance showed his true personality" . . .

It's Howdy Doody time . . . it's Howdy Doody time

This pix will tell a lot about Gray Davis.

Davis is another one that reminds me of a place far away, a place where his biggest fears and concerns were not the enemy, as much as the people standing near him.

And Gray Davis did it all by himself.

"I kept the lights on," Davis said.

Davis in his recent try-out to become next Motel 6 radio spokesperson.

"No, no, Mr. Davis!" cried the script director in growing frustration. "You're supposed to say, 'We'll leave the lights on for you.' Try again. Take 92, record now.!"

Then aside to his assistant, the director mutters, "I always knew he had a face meant for radio, but apparently he isn't going to cut it here, either."

"If I didn't panic, you wouldn't be able to put out your paper,"

He panicked and locked the state into long-term electricity contracts at the peak prices!
