...I got tired of doing the extra work for my smoker work partners, when they went outside for 10 minutes maybe 4x-5x per shift. Then, I started taking a FULL hour for my lunch break, rather than the allotted 1/2 hour. I told everyone I was just adding in my "smoke breaks". ....no one has said anything... they don't want to upset their "smoke break" apple-cart.

Too true,I once gave up smoking to offer it up and went on a trip with my husband,we had booked non-smoking but because of a a stress in the family I had started back, spent half the flight in non-smoking and it was a bore-the smokers were in the back so I got to meet the whole plane and they were wide awake and in the end I got to know all and we all became freinds,

If you really want to hear what is going on at a company, visit the smoking area for a while. That is the truth! And, have you noticed that in an establishment where there is a smoking and non-smoking section, the smoking section is populated with people who seem relaxed, cheerful, and sociable, while the non-smoking section is populated by people who look like they've been sucking on persimmons, and are really uptight. And it's not because they can smell the smoke from the smoking section, because they can't. I'll hang out with smokers, because they're more fun! To the nico-nazis, I say this: I may be a smoker, but you're ugly and I can quit.

Gosh Joe,they might even tell us not to overeat because of health reasons,we could always hide intake outside,

(Just KIDDING, Ditter!!) It's difficult for me to "love" someone who is abusive, insulting, narrow-minded and would miss no chance to give up someone else's freedom. But that's just me.

Well Masx, you are a guy and I am a girl ,you are right ,love is a strong word ,I stand by it to a online friend.

i agree with you about the attitude of many former smokers, but i move away from cigar smokers (note that i take the responsibility to move away, NOT try to get you to move).

Desire is my problem. If the smoking is soo bad, I guess I can get a few drinks after work to calm nerves everynight before I go home. Then I guess I would have to goto AA. Then I could be a Teen leader at my church then goto jail for that addiction. NAWWW I will stay with smoking....
