Without question, the single biggest factor hurting our party today is the lack of charismatic leaders. It's the price we pay for having these things called "principles". Republicans don't vote for someone based on how they look on television.

If you think the Republicans in Congress have acted with principle over the past few years, I can't help but sigh. Likewise, if you think Newt Gingrich looked good on television, I'd hate to see what you consider an ugly person to look like.
