Evening Who - I can remember driving into a full-service (but they were all full-service back in the day) gas station, and ordering up a quarter, or half-dollar's worth of fuel. No problem, no funny looks - and still getting the under the hood service, the tire pressures checked, and the windshield cleaned!

I'm so glad to have lived the majority of my life when I did. Have an anonymously great evening. Loved the family photos - all you guys really favor each other. JL

Yes, all that, and it was free. I remember when they put in a quarter machine for water, air, etc. ..even when you served yourself. The screaming protests were heard far and wide.

I remember the Mobil station I frequented most, the fellow who did the windshields, etc. also would open the door and whisk out the floor mats.

They were the good old days, but, geewhillikers, what would I do without my computer?????
