I also learned that there is still enough difference AT THE LEADERSHIP level between the democraps and GOP to make a difference.

Yeah... don't you just miss that inspiring leadership of Trent Lott when he was Majority Leader?

Please join your local GOP. That's where it starts.

Yep.
And in a lotta places, where you have eternal DeomcRAT candidates holding offfice, a conservative Republican doesn't have a snowball's chance in hell of winning. Period.
That is why the GOP fields these RINOs. They think, "Well, at least this guy (or gal) might have a chance against thes demos.
Well, they don't, but that's why it happens, I think.
And, once in a while, they win, and that's how we end up with them.

The problem is that party establishment. Washington, inside the beltway, we know better than you, attitude that's the problem.

You nailed it!

I've heard talk everywhere about RINOS, amnesty, CFR, and the like. Here's the question. What are we going to do about it.

Two words: Elect Nader.

I wish there were more of you - people who can see the logic and reality.

I see a parallel with this subject and the gun associations. They think they have been wronged by their group so they want to try joining some obscure organization that doesn't have a chance.

It starts local. If the RINOs don't win the county commish, City council, mayors, prosecutor, or sheriff seats, they can't win higher election.

Tell that to the Hildebeast.

Hey the only reason Libertarians scare me is that their vote keeps some Republicans from getting in. Other than that they are completly ineffective.

When you finally accept the fact that "politics" and "principles" are mutually exclusive terms,
it makes it easier to cope, but harder to care.

Great post, Dan!

There's another thing we can do: win our friends and acquantances over to Conservative ideas. Tell them not to believe everything they read in the press. Explain them why Socialism is bad. Remind them of the futility of appeasement. Point out why the Second Amendment was passed...and so on.

The best way to extinct RINOs is to create a strong Conservative sentiment throughout the nation!

On this forum of late one is called a RINO if they wonder outloud if our President is going to sign US up for global taxation with the U.N. at the summit in Mexico.

Taxation without representation is an urgent issue who cares what political party anyone is? What congressional act or law said that the U.S. possibly being taxed by the U.N. was even up for discussion?
