BALDWIN, Pennsylvania (AP) -- Police said Sunday they plan to file charges against at least seven children, ages 8 to 12, for allegedly invading the apartment of two young women, molesting them and stealing their food.
Paperwork will be filed Monday to schedule juvenile court hearings on charges including robbery, indecent assault, trespassing and conspiracy, said officials in the suburb of Pittsburgh.

Now that's something you don't see every day. Isn't it usually the kids that get groped?

We just need to throw more money at these nice but screwed up kids, and while we're at it, let's create after school programs so these young ruffians will cease their criminal activity. Mo Money, Mo Money, Mo Money!

Maybe the five boys and two girls suffer from low self esteem. That's why they had to resort to such despicable behavior. (LOL) These are liberal raised kids and now we see the results - no boundaries or self control.

Sounds as if there are no adults capable of taking charge - and what results, predictably, is Lord of the Flies.

I'd say maybe they should send in Bill Clinton to fix this. Since he was the first black president. But, like the parents of these kids he has abandoned his own child. Who happens to be black. But not living in public housing like this gang.

What a disgusting and appalling incident. The sad thing is that the likelihood that these children think such behavior is "ok" is probably high. Our culture is slowly being flushed down the toilet, not necessarily because of "bad influences" exclusively, but also because of poor parenting on the part of too many parents today. The combination of the two are not quite deadly, but is getting too close.

Reports of drug abuse, vandalism, child neglect and unsupervised children are rampant at the 1,071-unit complex, police said. In other words, a typical government housing project.

What would you do if seven 11 year olds invaded your home and started taking things? Hit one? Shoot? Call the cops and let them get there after the kids have been gone for 20 minutes? Even if you grab one, the other ten have your laptop, your wallet, your keys, and your jewelry before you can do anything else. Pack mentality, coupled with the confidence that comes with knowing that there will never be any significant consequences... these attacks will become MUCH more common within a decade.

Let's see some names and pictures of the people involved - YEAH RIGHT!!

This has not made the local papers. One of the interesting points from the Baldwin police was that this complex represented 5% of the towns population and 100% of all calls.
[rant]I cannot wait to hear the callers tomorrow on the local radio talk show. I wonder who the first caller will be that claims the Lord of the Flies were just victims. How many remember the condemnation Dubya received for promoting marriage in the welfare reform program? [/rant]

Kelly said that in addition to filing charges, police will seek to have the children's families evicted from the Green Meadows housing complex where the incident occurred. Yeah, right. The cops will back off that stance when their lawyers tell them about the civil rights lawsuits that they are opening themselves up to. Getting rid of deadbeat tenants is like holding back the ocean with a broom.

Also, where's the byline describing the outrage displayed by "The Reverend Jackson" and "Calypso Louis Farakahn"? Why no opinion on these despicable acts? They seem to have one about everything else!

What would you do if seven 11 year olds invaded your home...? Several of them would wind up getting shot and that would serve as a real lesson learned for the survivors and other would-be home invaders.
