It's very likely that these Mexican army patrols are escorting smugglers. It's insane to enlist the aid of the Mexican government in anything which affects our borders. Even a dimwit should have known better than to try to get cooperation from that gang of thieves in power in Mexico.

It amazes me that it takes two hours after they find what appears to be a bomb --and in fact is part of a bomb and the INS still doesn't close the border, it took a local police department to do it. Homeland security amounts to strip searching Americans at airports but not we can't close or protect the borders.
