Every bit of self doubt or anti-Americanism helps bin Laden. Every Saudi student that comes home after a US college education repeats the anti-Americanism he hears at university. "You see, they even hate themselves," is a refrain heard from many Saudi graduates of US universities.

The thing that concerns me in this war is that I sometimes think the enemy understands us better than we understand ourselves.

The Mid-east pictures us as Bill Clinton's and Hollywood's USA. American executive sit around getting BJ's all day. Gangs controll the streets. Women exersize too much governmental control. Housewives spend their day with drugs and their lovers. Other women get abortions. The American military goes out to brutalize those not our allies.

That is what our media presents to these people. The media never projects the good we do.
