Fess up, you're from DU, right?""

Right - I'm a Democrat who wants the Democrats to lose the Senate. In fact, Racicot may be the most popular Republican with DU types, because he refuses to run against one of their most vulnerable incumbents. If I WERE a Democrat, I'd be cheering over Racicot's decision - as I'm sure Daschle secretly is. Daschle jokes that he mows Jeffords' lawn. Well, he it to Racicot to wash Racicot's car in gratitude for Racicot's decision not to run for Senate. By choosing not to run, RACICOT'S HELPING THE DEMS almost as much as Jeffords!!!

And Racicot isn't allowed to make decisions about his own life?

I wouldn't blame any Republican for not wanting to live in DC and be on the receiving end of the entrenched, parasitic organized crime machine that makes up the PR, press, pol, pundit - professional liars on the left. None of us have the right to condemn another for their choice of service.

Perhaps Daschle isn't breaking any earthly "laws" with his behavior in the Senate, but he's breaking plenty of eternal ones. His choice to circumvent the honorable and traditional Senate process by not allowing votes out of committee, not consulting experts on important matters...like our future energy policy, doing all he can to defeat policies that would help our nation in a time of war to consistently put his own self ahead of the country. Comparing Racicot to Daschle is wrong, cruel and untrue.
