Well then, why are there STILL monkeys and apes?

Proof positive creationists do not get their science from science books, but from Jack Chick pamphlets. Monkeys and apes and people all descended from a common critter that existed many millions of years ago. Humans and chimps (out closest living relatives) split from each other about 5 million years ago.

I have to barf saying this, but I agree with you. Indeed, it is misinformation that somehow all monkeys turned into people. We are just one branch of an ape family that evolved from a common ancestor in the evolutionary theory.

I am not an evol, but I do know that "why are there monkeys today" is not a valid argument....

Tell me this: how can a theory that has been purposely lying for 100 years be considered science? How can it be believed now? Why should it be believed?
