That’s what evolution, cosmology, philosophy, and morality 'is' in the absence of intelligent design…i.e. God.
Intelligent design and The Designer were around long before any of these theories/sciences existed. It was a given that life, the universe, and everything was given to us by a Supreme Being (or in some cases Beings)
I believe science is great – we all must continue learning – but to hold up a single piece of information and state ‘look, God does not exist’, that is not science.
The existence of God or nonexistence may never be proven. Sure does give life to the argument of free will.
